The process of collecting ideas and improving certain skills can sometimes happen without clear intention. By trying out a different way of creating, you might realise you really enjoy that style. Or not. Either way, you find out more about yourself as an artist and there might be certain techniques or visuals you decide to incorporate in your own works after all.
You shouldn't experience this as a limitation. If something isn't working out, there are plenty of detours you can take. You can go against the challenge, as it is only here to get you started. But our recommendation is to include elements that belong to the artist's own art style. This makes it easier for the next participant, as they must add to your work.
New ideas derive from the old. So, take a break from routine and try out this challenge!
